Why buy this jacket instead of the synthetic UL Thermawrap? This jacket is warmer and lighter than the UL Thermawrap. It is ideally suited to cold conditions that are not damp when down is a perfect insulator. It is less well suited to damp conditions where synthetic insulation may be more suitable.
